Golden Compass Mech

The Golden Compass (His Dark Materials) is one of my favorite books, packed with beautiful imagery and rich characters. Started playing with some old ideas I had of a mech version of the story, with Iorek as a mech and Lyra's a pilot, or something like that, and Pan's her AI. 
I'd love to return to this concept and explore more scenes from the book this way, but in the meantime other ideas and projects have hit my plate! ahh~
